June 15, Minneapolis, MN (USA) – Oracle Magazine recently published an article that details how executives look to the future of their business and, in today's economic crisis, choose to lead their industries with intelligence. Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) enables the user to pinpoint leading and lagging parts of their business quickly. The software enables cross-functional views to combine metrics from various parts of the business. Business leaders can take advantage of all the data at their disposal. Terence Ng, Director of Global Information Systems, at Audatex, uses BI to get better information and accelerate their business decisions. "If we had to do all the [work] ourselves, it would probably take three or four times longer than it took to implement Oracle's prebuilt BI solution," says Ng.

Audatex contracted with Oracle Partner, Business Intelligence Consulting Group to implement custom dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Some key challenges of the implementation included row-level security by cost center, line of business, company, and country to ensure authorized users could view sensitive financial information.
